Description: Cold Shrink Outdoor Termination (8/15 kV) is designed for medium voltage power cable systems and offers outstanding electrical and environmental performance.
Made from specially formulated liquid silicone rubber, the component delivers dependable insulation and mechanical integrity even in extreme outdoor conditions.
The termination body is pre-expanded on a removable plastic core, allowing it to shrink in place onto the cable without requiring heat or specialized tools. This cold application process not only reduces installation time but also ensures a consistent seal and fit around the cable, improving long-term reliability.
Through the use of high-precision molding equipment, the rubber body is produced to a high standard—free of visual defects such as bubbles or scorching. The interface between the insulation layer and the semi-conductive shielding is completely integrated, eliminating any risk of detachment or cracking over time.
